About Me

I am a Master student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. I work as a Research Assistant at the SMILE Lab, affiliated with the Center for Language and Speech Processing (CLSP), under the supervision of Prof. Berrak Sisman.

My research focuses on speech and language processing and AI for health, including representations and post-training in large language and audio-language models, as well as acoustic and linguistic cues for assessing Alzheimer’s disease and depression. My recent work has led to papers published in the AACL-IJCNLP 2026 Main Conference, Interspeech 2026, and IEEE SLT 2026, with further work submitted to ICASSP 2027 and ACL Rolling Review.

I received my bachelor’s degree from Dalian University of Technology, where I worked with Prof. Qiufen Xia on cold-start latency in serverless computing, resulting in a first-author paper and a granted patent.
