I am currently a master’s student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, working as a Research Assistant in the SMILE Lab affiliated with the Center for Language and Speech Processing (CLSP), under the supervision of Professor Berrak Sisman. I received my bachelor’s degree from Dalian University of Technology, where I worked as a Research Assistant in a laboratory under the supervision of Professor Qiufen Xia during my undergraduate studies.
I am passionate about research. During my undergraduate studies, my research focused on cold-start latency optimization in cloud computing and serverless computing, and I published related research as the first author. Currently, my research interests focus on speech processing and healthcare-related speech detection based on deep learning methods.
In addition to research, I also love films and traveling. My current dream is to travel to France to watch films at the Cannes Film Festival.

Proposed and implemented an innovative Serverless cold-start optimization solution based on nested containers, enabling rapid initialization of child containers through parent-container pre-warming and significantly reducing function cold-start latency. Independently designed and optimized a nested-container resource scheduling system, including parent-container pre-warming strategies to minimize startup delay and resource waste. Independently developed a child-container resource allocation algorithm to improve function execution performance, and built an adaptive Serverless resource scheduling system.

I love films. I savor every moment spent watching a great movie, and I cherish every second inside a cinema. Films are not only dream-making machines, they also carry the full weight of human philosophical reflection. Through cinema, I explore both the darkest corners of human emotion and the noblest of virtues—the echo of human nature.
To date, I have watched around 1,400 films, and below are ten of my most beloved among them.
“After the invention of film, human life has been extended at least threefold.” —— Yi yi, Edward Yang
I love traveling. I enjoy stepping into a bustling and unfamiliar city, experiencing people’s ways of life and the vibrancy of everyday moments. I also enjoy witnessing magnificent and vast natural landscapes, bearing witness to the beauty of nature. Through traveling, I come to know the world, and through traveling, I come to know myself. So let’s hit the road and begin those days between departure and arrival. See you down the road.
Below are some of the cities I have visited and photos I took during the journeys.
